State funding cuts are making a significant impact on our budget. Pendleton Place needs your help to fund operations and continue providing care for hurting children in our community.
When you give to Pendleton Place, you not only provide for the basic needs of abused and neglected children, but you help pave the way for a future of hope and promise. When you give, everyone wins…the children and the community!
Your donation provides the following for children in our care:
- Shelter, nutritious food, and clothing
- On-site Pediatric services; In addition to routine care, every child receives a comprehensive medical exam within 72 hours of intake
- Educational support, including tutoring services, educational materials, school supplies, books, computer software, etc.
- Therapeutic counseling services
- On-site monthly dental services
- Abuse Prevention Education services that teach children how to recognize and report different types of abuse and neglect, as well as how to appropriately handle the emotions that result from being a victim
- Birthday and holiday gifts
- Recreational outings, including summer programs, aimed at keeping children active and engaged

Are you interested in making a gift in honor or memory of a loved one?
Consider making a gift to Pendleton Place Children's Shelter in memory of a loved one, in honor of a new baby, for holiday gifts or other celebrations. A contribution to Pendleton Place in lieu of flowers is a living memorial through the life of a child who has been helped. We will send a card to the honoree indicating that the gift was made in the person's honor or memory.
To make a Honorarium/Memorial Donation, please include the following information when making your gift:
- Name of the person being honored or memorialized.
- Your name, address and phone number.
- The name and address of the person who will receive the acknowledgement card.
- The name of the individual(s) the gift is from if different from your name.
