A Bit About Jonathan
A proud Pittsburgh native and avid fan of his hometown baseball team and legendary player Roberto Clemente, Dr. Pettis has over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Prior to joining Pendleton Place in 2017, he began his career in facilities management at the Franklin Center of Beaver County in Pennsylvania. After a promotion to Director of Operations, he was appointed to serve as the organization’s Executive Director in 2005. While under his leadership the organization earned the designation “Small Non-Profit Organization of the Year” by the Beaver County Chamber of Commerce in 2016. Currently Jonathan is a member of the NAACP in Lakeland, FL and co-founded The Aliquippa Council of Men and Fathers and co-created the Aliquippa Project for college access program for students in the Greater Pittsburgh area. At Pendleton Place, Dr. Pettis manages all aspects of office administration which includes finance, human resources and facilities operations, while also enhancing the culture of our leadership through his PhD in Executive Leadership.
