A Bit About Nancy
Nancy received her BA from UNC-Chapel Hill, and is a diehard Tarheels fan. Married to an alumni of the Naval Academy, Nancy is the proud mother of three exceptional children ranging from high-school age to college-age. She is learning to share space in her college t-shirt drawer for Clemson and Ohio State, where her daughters attend. We were very lucky to snag Nancy in July 2019 when she joined Pendleton Place as the grant writer and grants manager, a role in which she helped secure upwards of $3M in awards. She was promoted to the Director of Philanthropy role in February 2022. Nancy is a gifted writer, project manager, and leader to her team, and we could not be more proud to have her on board.

Junior League of Greenville
Champion the fundraising strategy for the organization, with special emphasis on federal grant proposals, award compliance, & program implementation. Provide project management for special events with support a comprehensive philanthropy team focused on giving partnerships, grants, events, and volunteers.
Developed grant proposals for submission to corporate, private/family foundation, governmental, and social/civic organizations. Managed reporting for awards and the administration of federal awards.
Directed support for all fund development efforts including: fundraisers; auctions, events, grants, annual fund and endowment campaigns, magazine advertising. and sponsor solicitation.
Offered as needed support for JLG community and member events.
